Whole Alone originates from a perceptual operation: when occupied, the chair disappears. The visual field of the seated user is entirely filled by the structure itself, eliminating the perception of the object as a whole and isolating the body within its own experience.
Constructed from tubular modules, the piece creates a sense of movement through repetition and variation in diameters, producing an effect of continuous expansion and contraction. Although static, its form suggests pulsation.
